E Oldroyd & Sons is a fifth-generation family farm in Rothwell that has grown and packed Yorkshire forced rhubarb for well over a century, alongside field rhubarb, strawberries and fresh vegetables. The farm sits within Wakefield's famous Rhubarb Triangle and is regarded as one of the leading producers of this traditional, highly specialised crop, having supplied celebrity chefs and been named a Rick Stein Food Hero producer. Guided tours of the candlelit forcing sheds run through the rhubarb season from January to March, alongside the annual Rhubarb Festival.
