England captain Harry Kane has entered the food business with the launch of his own vegan protein bars. Collaborating with the German brand 3Bears, Kane has introduced Crispy Cocoa and Salted Peanut flavoured bars, aiming to tap into the growing vegan food market. The bars are made from 100% wholegrain oats and contain between 14-17g of protein per 100g, with no refined sugar.
Kane-powered nutrition
Kane expressed his enthusiasm for the venture, stating, "We’ve focused on creating something that not only tastes great but also works for your body – whether you’re active, keeping things balanced, or just need a tasty sub. It’s about giving everyone that extra push to be their best every day." He highlighted the importance of nutrition in his career, noting, "Nutrition is huge for me as a player. Working with 3Bears lets me share that passion in a way everyone can enjoy."
A taste for oats
Harry Kane, who plays for Bayern Munich, is a shareholder in 3Bears. He explained his personal connection to the brand, saying, "As an athlete, breakfast is the most important meal for me, and of course, I’m really conscious of what I put in my body, as well as the bodies of my family. When I discovered 3Bears, I loved that they took oats to another level. 3Bears oats are the perfect choice to fuel the body, they’re a great source of natural protein, fibre, and complex carbs."
Meet Harry Kane competition
To celebrate the launch, 3Bears and Harry Kane are running a competition offering 15 VIP packages for two people to meet the footballer. Winners will also enjoy a brunch with the brand’s founders, Caro and Tim, and participate in a padel tennis match. Other prizes include travel vouchers and Nutribullet Portables.
Previous collaboration
This is not Kane’s first foray with 3Bears; he previously made his acting debut in an advert for the brand, styled in the manner of the US mockumentary ‘The Office’. In the clip, Kane played a new employee, mirroring the awkward humour of the popular sitcom.
