Porteous Architecture is an award-winning Chartered Architects practice founded in 2010 by husband-and-wife partners Duncan and Fiona Porteous, now trading as Porteous Architecture & Design Limited. The practice runs a studio at Talla na Mara on the Isle of Harris alongside its base on the Isle of Lewis, working closely with clients across the islands to respond to the extreme island environment with buildings that work poetically and economically with the natural landscape and unique cultural identity, in a sustainable and contemporary way.
