Started by Fraser Alexander in 1981, AW has always taken pride in sourcing a boutique wine selection and providing a bespoke customer service. In 2018 AW joined the Dunns food and drink family. Dunns, one of Scotland’s best-known food and drink suppliers, is a family business, with a history dating back to 1875 when a 26 year old Joseph Dunn started his soft drinks business in the east end of Glasgow.
AW is a people orientated company which aims to work with the Scottish on and off trade to be your partner in wine. As a wine supplier, we aim to provide a personal service and treat all our customers as individuals with different needs and requirements. These values are reflected by Dunns, with both teams working together to ensure that innovation, integrity, and reliability are at the forefront of our businesses.
All wines in our portfolio are tasted, discussed, and decided on by our small, passionate team. It is our mission to be the go-to wine supplier for Scotland’s hospitality and retail sectors, to help them achieve their wine goals, whatever they may be. Between us we have years of experience within the on and off trade sectors, so we understand the needs and wants of businesses in this constantly changing marketplace.
