Aileen warmly welcomes you to Tighard Guest House on the Isle of Canna. Nestled on the hillside amongst a mature woodland and gardens, she invites you to make yourself at home, relax and enjoy her little bit of heaven! Tighard (High house) is an Edwardian house built by the Thom family circa.1904.
It is a beautiful sandstone building with many original features and is situated in a spectacular position on the hillside overlooking the harbour, Sanday, Rum and the horizon. You won’t find many views like this from any other guest house.
Sympathetically renovated as a guest house in 2006, it makes for stunning yet comfortable accommodation. The grounds are quite extensive with a small orchard, woodland and front lawn that makes the loveliest sun-trap.
