Your hosts are Roddy and Sonja MacLeod and we live next door with our two teenage children, Ollie and Charlie and our lovely Collie Lottie. Lottie is veryfriendly and will present you with gifts such as socks, balls or sticks. She will happily play throw and catch all day. Boundless energy. If you don’t like dogs, please just say, we won’t be offended and will keep her away. She loves everyone!
We decided to build the pod after taking our children on many winter staycations in the Western Isles, staying in pods or storm houses and really fell in love with them. Compact and cosy with a definite Nordic feel.
Sonja is half Danish. Her mother Mette passed away a few years ago now, but the rich heritage, culture and traditions are still deeply embedded in our family. We wanted to emulate a feeling of inner calm, contentment, warmth and kindness. Roddy was born and grew up in Tong and the two cultures blended so well, we wanted to bring them together
