Calgary Art Gallery & Gift Shop Description
Our family-run gallery and gift shop is located just 800 meters from the stunning Calgary Bay. If you can’t make it in person, you can now browse our art collections online at our website.
The gallery features a wide range range of art work and local crafts including watercolour, oil and acrylic paintings, printmaking, wood carvings, tin sculptures, shell art, ceramics, wood turned bowls and hand woven baskets.
Within the gallery there is a gift shop, where you can pick up beautiful cards, art prints, tea towels and handmade candles and soaps. It’s also a great opportunity to try on locally made jewellery and textiles including scarves, hats and headbands.
Many visitors comment on how varied the exhibition is, with something for everyone to enjoy.
Nestled in a serene woodland setting, the Gallery sits alongside the popular sculpture trail, the Calgary Art in Nature woodland walk and serves as the beginning and end to the sculpture walk. More information and a map of the walk is available from our friendly staff in the Gallery.
