Carmen's Tailoring is a small studio in gorgeous Covent Garden offering an alteration service to designer clothing and a bespoke tailoring service . This is a private, quiet little place you can feel comfortable in and although the quality is the highest the prices are reasonable. We specialise in made to measure and bespoke garments for women as well as designer clothes alterations for men and women offering a professional service to ensure that perfect silhouette. Whether you require an alteration such as a simple hem or a complete reconstruction of your favorite garment, we will do what it takes to ensure you look and feel great in your clothes. We successfully cover work on different fabrics from denim to lace and bridal wear, linen and silk to leather and fur, swimwear to knitwear. We alter designer clothing to original manufacturers specifications using the best tailoring techniques, threads, sewing machines and careful dedication. What you didn't know about us? Carmen studied Economics (1st degree in information systems) , before returning to fashion design and tailoring (degree in Garment Technology) and her true passion is designing one off pieces. She has over 30 years of experience in fashion design, tailoring and bespoke garments for ladies and worked for well known designers and sold her own collections in boutiques in London and abroad. We offer our alteration sevices to private clients and to shops around Covent Garden. Among these are: Thomas Farthing, Paul & Joe, Hackett, Peter Werth, Karen Millen, Hobbs, Agnes b., Junno says Hello and some other shops recommend Carmen's Tailoring Studio to their clients.
