Noura Centre

Noura Centre Description

How do you capture 45 years of history in just one paragraph?

The journey of Nader Bou Antoun and Jocelyne Bou Antoun began amidst the turbulent times of Lebanon in 1970. While others were caught in the conflicts, the couple focused their efforts in the kitchen, perfecting the art of Lebanese cuisine, with Nader simultaneously mastering the fields of management and hospitality.

Their dedication and perseverance led to early success, which paved the way for international expansion. In 1980, they introduced the vibrant flavours of Lebanese cuisine to Paris, establishing a multi-location operation. By 2000, their culinary passion extended to London, resulting in what Nader proudly refers to as his “three gems”: Kingston, Curzon Street in Mayfair, and the neighbourhood delicatessen in Knightsbridge. These locations remain the heart and soul of the family’s legacy.

Celebrating Over 20 Years in London

In 2019, the team celebrated two decades of bringing authentic Lebanese cuisine to the UK. Nader, a strong advocate for excellence, often reminds his team to “treat each day at work as your first.” Using a unique metaphor about bread-making, he emphasises the importance of attention to detail:
“Just as a few grams of yeast are the driving force behind fermentation, giving bread its texture and fullness, it’s the smallest details of the customer experience that transform a meal into a cherished, shared memory.”

A Family Legacy

Today, the leadership baton is shared with Nader and Jocelyne’s two sons, Majed and Hani, while Jocelyne herself continues to ensure the business’s financial operations run seamlessly. Their daughter, Nada, a successful interior designer, also contributes by overseeing the design and marketing initiatives, adding a personal touch to every project.

With a foundation built on passion, resilience, and attention to detail, Noura continues to embody the essence of Lebanese hospitality, creating unforgettable culinary experiences for every guest.
