Our museum houses a collection of over 6000 original cartoons and comics, and a library of over 8000 comics and books, documenting the history of British comics from the 18th century to the present day.
Our diverse programme of exhibitions, events, education programmes and competitions is driven by our mission to:
Collect, conserve and provide access to Britain’s cartoon, caricature, animation and comic art heritage.
Encourage participation in and raise awareness of a popular artform.
Support new work by cartoonists and comics artists and champion Britain’s cartoon and comics communities.
