A little about us, Justine and Melanie, owners and therapists of Beauty and the Spa. In a world that is increasingly demanding we are committed to providing a world of relaxation and calm to enhance a more balanced lifestyle. We welcome you to our wellbeing practice and hope that through our range of massage, holistic and beauty treatments you find the perfect balance of treatments to aid relaxation and restore harmony to your life. “We believe that taking care of your well-being is a necessity not a luxury. We believe the best investment you can make is in yourself, you can’t get time back but you can spend it well.” We began our journey in 2012 when we started our company, Beauty and the Spa. As qualified therapists (and sisters!) we identified a gap in the market for high quality, professional treatments at an affordable price whilst still creating a private, calming and relaxing environment. We realised that although we both adore a spa day as much as the next person, that a traditional spa is not always affordable to all nor do people have the time to fit this into everyday lives. We found that most people indulge in a spa day as a treat or for a special occasion or celebration which although relaxing does not always allow for clients to maintain the positive beneficial effects of treatments and physical and mental well-being. We believe everyone should be able to experience and benefit from regular treatments to enhance their health and well-being and provide balance and relaxation. We also appreciate that not everyone requires the use of spa facilities but do want to enjoy and benefit from the positive well-being aspects of holistic therapies. So we went about creating our city centre wellbeing treatment rooms in Newcastle where we could offer professional treatments, from beauty to holistic and massage but without the associated costs of spa facilities. An environment where clients could relax from everyday life and benefit from the positive effects of regular treatments more often. The city centre provides a convenient location which allows good transport links and access for most people and also allows city centre workers a retreat from the fast paced lifestyle of living and working in a busy city. Our city centre wellbeing rooms are appointment only, we do not have a full time reception, this allows us to book the room exclusively for clients and again keeps the cost down to ensure we can pass savings to our clients. We do not have spa facilities, but do have a calming waiting area for clients to enjoy a refreshment before or after treatments. Our goal and mission has always been the same to provide high quality, professional treatments in a safe, friendly and calming environment to enable clients to actively take control and look after their wellbeing. A place to come and indulge in a moment of relaxation and to re-balance and look after mind, body and soul. We are really passionate about wellbeing and helping clients live their most happy, healthy life. We believe in a holistic approach to well being and that by combining good practices and discipline to key areas of your life, including, regular exercise, physical and mental health, diet and nutrition and massage and holistic treatments you will bring positive change and restore balance to the mind, body and soul. We love working in the wellbeing industry and are so grateful we can be part of helping so many people achieve there well-being goals. We are there to help you and bring relaxation and calm to your life.
