For me, osteopathy is a passion as much as a profession. Having felt let down by conventional models of healing and recovery in the past, I have been on a journey to discover effective alternatives to living in poor health or with pain. As a registered Osteopath working in Perth, Auchterarder and Spittalfield, I hope to share this with you in a way that will allow you to live more fully and less a prisoner of a diagnosis, injury or chronic illness.
Often quoted as being both an artform and a science, what sets Osteopathy aside is the use of the human hand, both in diagnosis and in treatment. Our profession is known as patient centred, which means that we care about who you are an individual and aim to find the unique root cause of your issue.
If I suspect that you may need further medical investigation, I will refer you to the appropriate channels. Otherwise, through a series of tests and physical examination, I hope to determine the exact cause of your pain or discomfort. Whether it is coming from a bulging disc, arthritis, sciatica, an injury, a belief or a mystery – we can work together to figure out the best way to get you back to get your life back and live with greater ease
