John Brown and Daughter Funeral Services Ltd Description
John Brown worked as a funeral director in Norwich for many years before starting his own business in 1970. Although he started off Constitution Hill in Sprowston, in 1972, he bought the site of the Old Catton Methodist Church on North Walsham Road, Sprowston where you can still find us today.
John worked hard with his family and built his business, being joined by David Bridge in 1996. David had been in the funeral profession since the age of 16 and having passed the business onto him, he ran the funeral home with over 40 years of experience.
Sadly David passed away in 2019, and his partner Trish continued running the business in his memory. Trish has recently retired and their daughter Broni is now running the business.
We are very proud to still be a fully independent family funeral director running for over 50 years with our own modern Volvo fleet of cars, refurbished chapel of rest, and offices on our extensive and tranquil grounds and gardens.
