Erin Dixon, an equine rehabilitation specialist based in Bolam, near Darlington in County Durham, has been shortlisted for the Best Equestrian Business category at the UK Small Business Awards 2026. Dixon runs E Dixon Equine Performance, which has built a reputation within the equestrian community for its standards of care.
With more than 15 years’ experience in equine sports massage and rehabilitation, Dixon takes an individualised approach to each horse’s treatment, looking beyond the immediate issue to the animal’s overall wellbeing rather than treating symptoms in isolation. That approach is what has put E Dixon Equine Performance among the National Top 10 finalists in its category.
The UK Small Business Awards celebrate the achievements of small businesses across the country, and being shortlisted places E Dixon Equine Performance among the top contenders, reflecting the standard of the wider UK equestrian industry. The winners are due to be announced at the awards ceremony in Birmingham on 19 December 2026.
