Finnies the Jeweller is an independent family jeweller with a large flagship showroom on George Street in Aberdeen. The business began in 1957, when Ron and Peggy Finnie opened a small watch repair shop on St Nicholas Street, and it is now run by the second and third generations of the family, including qualified gemmologists, with the George Street showroom more than doubled in size in 2020.
Inside is a wide collection of engagement rings, wedding and eternity rings, diamond jewellery, earrings, necklaces and bracelets, combining Finnies' own designs with branded pieces across a broad range of prices, alongside a selection of fine watch brands, including limited editions. An in-house workshop with goldsmiths, a watch technician and a diamond setter handles bespoke commissions and the restoration of older pieces.
Appointments can be booked, and customers can also get in touch by phone, email or WhatsApp. The showroom opens Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 5.30pm.
