Utopia Beauty Salon is an award-winning independent beauty salon owned by a qualified beauty therapist, and its Abingdon salon has recently moved to new premises on West St Helen Street, on the town-centre one-way system beside Thomas Cleary Flooring. Skin is a real focus: Utopia is a Dermalogica Expert Salon and Platinum Pro Partner, and alongside Dermalogica facials it offers advanced skin work such as microdermabrasion, microneedling, nanoneedling, bio-lift and photo dynamic therapy, plus body contouring with cavitation and radio frequency, blemish removal by advanced electrolysis and a Map My Mole screening service.
Everyday treatments include Lycon hot and strip waxing, threading, manicures and pedicures with gel polish, massage including pregnancy, oncology, hot stone and Indian head massage, a Japanese head spa, LVL lash lifts, HD Brows, tinting and ear and nose piercing. Only cruelty-free products are used and sold, many of them vegan-friendly.
The council car park on St Edmund's Lane, around the corner, gives an hour free with a ticket, and the salon is open until 7pm Tuesday to Thursday.
