Broadwater Mouldings is a long-established manufacturer of glass reinforced plastic (GRP) mouldings and composite assemblies, based at a purpose-built facility on Benacre Road in Ellough, near Beccles. Founded in 1973 and now part of the Betts Group, the company designs and produces mouldings, tooling and finished assemblies for the medical, automotive, agricultural, rail and leisure vehicle industries, offering services from CAD-based design support through to thermoforming, robotic machining and gel coat finishing. Its Safeglide chute products are supplied alongside its core composite manufacturing work, and the Suffolk site is one of the larger composite moulding operations in the region.

Broadwater Mouldings was established in 1973 and now operates as part of the Betts Group, which employs over 180 people. The business runs from a purpose-built manufacturing facility near Beccles with 7,500m² of works on a 17,500m² site.

Broadwater's international growth was highlighted in a 2026 case study with Suffolk Economy as part of its Suffolk Ambassadors programme, in which the company's Financial Director discussed attaining the King's Award for Enterprise.
Supporting local sport in Beccles
