Tesco Express, 36/37 Dudley Street, Blakenhall Convenience Stores in Blakenhall, Wolverhampton
About
This Tesco Express opened on Dudley Street in Wolverhampton city centre in September 2023, on the site of the former Clintons card shop, bringing Tesco back to the heart of the city after the old Mander Centre supermarket closed in 2016. The store stocks everyday groceries, fresh produce, chilled and frozen food, and household essentials, alongside a Costa Express coffee machine and a National Lottery counter for shoppers passing through the city centre.
A Food Standards Agency inspection in March 2026 gave the store a 5 (Very Good) hygiene rating. It is open seven days a week for city-centre convenience shopping.
