Costa Coffee was founded in London in 1971 as a wholesale coffee roaster, supplying London's hotels and specialist Italian coffee shops before opening its own branded cafes. Over 100 blends were tested before settling on the Mocha Italia blend the chain still serves today, including at this McArthurGlen Designer Outlet branch.
