Yorks Framing Picture Framers & Frame Makers in Chapel Allerton, Leeds
About
Yorks Framing is a bespoke picture framing shop on Harrogate Road in Chapel Allerton, north Leeds, established in 1981 and run by a team with more than 50 years of combined experience. Frames are made to measure for almost anything: photographs, prints and posters, documents, textiles, records and instruments, medals, and the signed football and rugby shirts that fill the shop window.
Mounts are cut on computerised equipment, and the shop also frames and supplies mirrors, stretches canvases, sells readymade frames and mounts, and offers photo and art printing, photo restoration and laser engraving. Customers can drop in for a free consultation and quote, and the business takes on larger corporate jobs for artists, schools, universities, galleries and photographers.
Wedding table plans and passport and visa photos are handled here too. There is free parking, and the shop is open through the week and on Saturday mornings.
