Part of a nationwide trade counter network

Screwfix grew from the Woodscrew Supply Company, a single-page screw catalogue started in Yeovil in 1979. It became Screwfix Direct in 1992 and was bought by Kingfisher plc, owner of B&Q, in 1999. This Wolverhampton branch is one of several hundred trade counters the chain now runs across the UK and Ireland, each built for same-day collection rather than browsing.
