Founded to make AI make sense for over-50s
WellWired was founded in 2026 by Arthur Turing after he noticed how often older adults were excluded from everyday conversations about artificial intelligence, despite relying on it daily through their phones, banks and doctors' surgeries. The site offers free, jargon-free guides, a scam-spotting checker and an AI glossary, alongside a paid Academy course for anyone wanting a structured route to AI confidence.
Based in Shoreditch's Tea Building
WellWired operates from Unit 7.01 in the Tea Building on Shoreditch High Street, a well-known home for London's creative and technology businesses. The location places the team within the wider tech and digital-education community that has grown up around that part of Shoreditch.
