A Victorian hall since 1887
Bolton Masonic Hall on Institute Street was purpose-built in 1887 as a permanent town-centre home for Bolton's Freemasons, then extended in 1928 to accommodate more lodge rooms across its upper floors.
Refurbished for weddings and events
A comprehensive refurbishment in 2020 brought a redesigned Farnworth bar, a permanent dancefloor and full Wi-Fi throughout the building, and a dedicated Events Team was established in 2022 to take wedding, party and corporate bookings alongside the hall's ongoing Masonic use.
