Hornsey Day Nursery and Preschool cares for children from three months to four years across two sites about 500 metres apart on and near Hornsey Road, between Finsbury Park and Archway, and serves families from Crouch End, Stroud Green, Upper Holloway and Highgate. Babies under two are looked after at the Hornsey Road site, in two bright, high-ceilinged rooms, one for young babies who are not yet walking and one for pre-toddlers.

Toddlers and preschool children move to the second site on New Orleans Walk, off Cromartie Road, which has a room for two-year-olds, a room for three and four year olds and a 400 square metre garden of its own. The team is highly qualified, several with childcare degrees, and plans activities across all seven areas of early learning, and Ofsted has graded each site Good.

The nursery is open from eight in the morning until six in the evening, Monday to Friday, closing only for bank holidays and two weeks over Christmas.
