KIKU Salon is a hair salon at 18 Union Street in the centre of Inverness, named after the Japanese word for 'to listen', which sums up its approach of starting every appointment with a proper conversation about what the client wants. The team includes stylists who honed their craft in London and Brighton, and the salon was a finalist in the British Hairdressing Awards.
Cutting and styling is priced by the level of stylist, from stylist through senior and creative director to artistic director, and covers precision cuts, blow drys, and specialist work for short and curly hair. Colour services run from regrowth tints and all-over colour to foils, balayage, colour restyles, bleach and tone, and toners, alongside Kerasilk keratin smoothing and conditioning and bonding treatments.
Gents cuts and colour are booked with a dedicated stylist. The salon is open Tuesday to Saturday, with a later finish on Thursdays, and late appointments can be requested.
