Photofusion Photographers in Lambeth, London

About
Photofusion is a photography centre in Brixton run by a registered educational charity, with roots going back to 1979, when it started life in Wandsworth as the Photo Co-op. It moved to Electric Lane in Brixton in 1991, took the Photofusion name, and in April 2024 opened its current premises at Beehive Place. Photographers of every level use it for its hire studio for stills and video, its black and white darkrooms, and a lab that develops black and white and C41 colour film, scans negatives and produces digital prints, mounting and laminating.
It also sells photographic supplies, runs analogue photography courses and summer workshops, offers youth programmes, and holds exhibitions in its gallery, which can also be hired. Membership brings discounted rates on the facilities. The centre is open Tuesday to Saturday.
