From a single sub shop to a worldwide franchise
Subway began life as a single sandwich shop in Connecticut in 1965, taking the Subway name a few years later, and grew through franchising into one of the world's largest restaurant chains, with tens of thousands of outlets across more than a hundred countries today. This branch, within Cyfarthfa Retail Park, is part of that worldwide network.
