Forty years as the Energy Auditing Agency
TEAM was founded in 1985 by Paul Martin as the Energy Auditing Agency, and has traded continuously from Milton Keynes ever since — one of the longer-established energy consultancies in the UK. It is now owned by its employees through an Employee Ownership Trust.
ISO-certified and SBTi-approved
The company holds ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental) and ISO 27001 (information security) certification, plus Cyber Essentials Plus, and its own net-zero target is approved by the Science Based Targets initiative. It is a member of the UK Green Building Council and the UN Global Compact Network UK, and a signatory to the SME Climate Hub.
Public sector and regulated-industry clients
TEAM's energy and carbon consultancy serves the NHS, government and local authorities, education, aerospace and defence, and retail — sectors reflected in its JOSCAR aerospace/defence supply-chain accreditation and its assessors' CIBSE accreditation.
