Its main business is made-to-order cakes for birthdays, weddings, christenings and anniversaries, from neatly iced sponges and cupcakes to elaborate sculpted showpieces such as a detailed model tractor, with vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free options available.
Customers who are unsure what they want can ring or email to talk through ideas, a quote can be requested online, and cakes can be delivered. The shop also runs a fully stocked sugarcraft centre for home bakers, with piping tips, cutters, food colourings, fondant, ribbons and decorations on the shelves and friendly advice from the counter, and it can print an image of your choice onto an A4 icing sheet while you wait. The shop opens Wednesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm and on Saturday mornings.
