About

MoveStore Removals and Storage Ltd is an award-winning removals and storage company based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Founded by Cameron Mackay and James Morris, the business was established with a clear vision: to create a moving experience that seamlessly combines high-quality removal services with competitive pricing. Drawing on their extensive industry experience, the founders set out to deliver a modern approach to moving while maintaining traditional values of care and professionalism.

Operating from their Edinburgh base, MoveStore has built a reputation as one of Scotland’s most trusted removals companies, earning multiple prestigious awards including Scotland Prestige Awards Winner 2025/26, SME News Business Elite Awards 2025 Winner for Best Removals Company, and Best Movers in Edinburgh 2025. MoveStore offers comprehensive services for both residential and commercial clients. Their residential portfolio includes full house removals, small removals, student removals, long-distance relocations, international moves, and specialist removals for items requiring extra care such as pianos and valuable artwork. For commercial clients, they provide complete office relocation services, library moves, hospital relocations, and school transfers, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

A key differentiator is their integrated storage solution. Recognising that clients often need more than just transportation, MoveStore expanded to offer flexible containerised storage facilities in Edinburgh. They provide short-term and long-term storage options for household goods, student belongings, and commercial inventory, all housed in secure, modern facilities.

The company’s service area extends from their Edinburgh heartland throughout the Lothians (East, West, and Midlothian), Fife, Scottish Borders, and to major Scottish cities including Glasgow, Perth, and Stirling. Beyond Scotland, they offer UK-wide coverage and international removal services to Europe and beyond, managing every aspect of overseas relocations with precision and care.
