Daniel Galvin's flagship salon fills a double-fronted period building on George Street in Marylebone, with around 9,000 square feet given over to hairdressing, which the family business describes as the largest salon in London. Daniel Galvin OBE is one of the best known colourists in the country, from a hairdressing family going back to the late 1800s, and the salon is now run by two generations of the Galvins, with colourists and stylists he has trained himself.
Colour is the speciality, from subtle highlights to complete transformations, alongside cutting and styling, hair extensions, a hair and scalp clinic, a wig service and beauty treatments. Complimentary consultations are offered without an appointment, while sessions with Daniel or Louise Galvin are booked separately, and new clients need a skin test before colour.
The salon is between Baker Street and Bond Street stations and opens Tuesday to Saturday.
