The Beauty Rooms is a beauty and nail salon in Gills Yard, tucked between Northgate and Wood Street in Wakefield city centre. It was set up in 1990 by the founder of the Mint Nail & Beauty salons and has kept its own name and character ever since. The qualified therapists cover the everyday treatments, including gel and builder gel manicures, nail extensions, pedicures, lash and brow work, and hot and strip waxing.
The salon is also known locally for advanced skincare, offering CACI facial lifting, Environ facials and Crystal Clear microdermabrasion, along with combined skin treatments and massage. Appointments can be booked online or by phone, and gift vouchers are available. The salon is open from Tuesday to Saturday, with later appointments until 7pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Several car parks are close by, including Borough Road and Providence Street, with short-stay street parking on Laburnum Road.
