Trading on Ivor Street since 1893
The Blaenavon Co-operative Society was formed in 1889 and built its first stores on this site in 1893. The present building, designed by local architect J. Morgan, dates from 1928, a reconstruction of those original stores, and the shop has traded continuously as a retail premises here for over a century.
