Tom Coll Jewellery is a family jewellery business founded in 1984 by Tom Coll, and now run by later generations of the family with a small team of sales staff and craftsmen. Rather than a shopfront in the arcade below, the showroom sits on the fourth floor of the Argyll Arcade Chambers in the city centre, reached by lift, and was refurbished to give clients a calm, private space to browse.
Its cabinets hold diamond engagement rings, lab-grown diamond pieces, wedding and eternity rings, and necklaces, bracelets and earrings set with diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, rubies and aquamarines, alongside a large selection of pre-owned Rolex watches, which can also be sold or traded in. The firm runs its own workshop on the premises, so bespoke designs, 3D CAD work, diamond setting and the remodelling of inherited jewellery into new pieces are all handled in-house, together with repairs, alterations, watch case and bracelet refurbishment and valuations.
The showroom is open Monday to Saturday, and appointments can be requested for design consultations.
