Masters of Craft is a hair salon on Blenheim Terrace in Woodhouse, between Leeds city centre and the university, that puts sustainability at the centre of how it works. It uses Davines products and is a partner of the Green Salon Collective. Rather than charging by gender, the salon prices by time and complexity, with stylists on five levels of training and experience so clients can book to suit their budget.
The menu covers cut and finish, specialist curl cuts and curl restyles, blow dries, balayage, glossing, root and full head tints, foil highlights from a parting to a full head, bleach and tone, and creative colour. New colour clients book a free 30-minute consultation and patch test at least 48 hours ahead. The salon also runs hairdressing education and model sessions.
It is closed on Mondays and Sundays, with late evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and has a few parking spaces at the front off Woodhouse Lane.
