Vets on the Common Vets in Lambeth, London

About

Vets on the Common is an independent veterinary practice in Clapham Old Town, set up in 2021 by two vets after years working in both charity and private clinics. The two vets work full time in the practice as well as running it, and it is not tied to any corporate group, so decisions about care are made in the clinic. Regular consultations last at least twenty minutes so there is time to talk through every concern, and the team of vets, nurses and receptionists aims for continuity, with pets seeing familiar faces from visit to visit.

Services cover wellness checks, vaccinations for dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets, routine surgery and neutering in the practice's own theatre, dental care, diagnostics, microchipping and parasite prevention, plus a pet health plan, care for exotic pets and help with pet travel paperwork. The bright reception and waiting area is just off Clapham Common.

The clinic is open from 9am to 6.30pm on weekdays and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays, with out-of-hours emergencies handled by a partner clinic.
