Bonnington Mill Garage is a small family-run workshop on Bangor Road in Leith that has been fixing cars here since 2014, and it is best known as the only independent Honda specialist in Edinburgh. The work is led by a Honda master technician with more than four decades on the marque, so owners of a Jazz, Civic, Accord, CR-V, HR-V or Type R get dealer-level knowledge at independent rates.
Alongside routine servicing, diagnostics, MOT preparation and general repairs, the team is trained through the Institute of the Motor Industry to work safely on hybrid and electric vehicles, including fault finding and battery replacement on Honda's hybrid range going back to the original Insight. Servicing and repair work carries a 12 month warranty.
The garage works weekdays only, finishing early on Fridays, so booking ahead by phone is the easiest way to get a car in.
