The Garden Nursery at Petersham Nurseries sits in the tranquil glasshouses and grounds of the Boglione family's Richmond site, off Church Lane near St Peter's Church in Petersham. It stocks outdoor plants and flowering perennials, roses and climbers, shrubs, herbs, vegetable seedlings, fruit trees, houseplants and conservatory plants, alongside handmade Italian terracotta, the nursery's own designs of pot, crafted tools, seeds, bulbs, composts and plant care.

Near the entrance a potting bench lets visitors choose seasonal plants and a pot and have the arrangement planted up, ready to collect on the way out. The horticultural team gives practical advice on borders, terraces, containers and indoor plants, and seasonal container workshops are held through the year. The nursery is open from ten until five, Tuesday to Saturday, and from eleven until five on Sundays; it is closed on Mondays except bank holidays.
