Jakery Bakery is a completely gluten-free bakery and small cafe in a green-fronted shop on Southwold High Street. Everything on the counter is baked in its own gluten-free kitchen, so people with coeliac disease can choose from the whole range rather than one token item: sweet and savoury cakes, traybakes, pastries and bread.
Whole cakes can be made to order for birthdays and other special occasions. Alongside the bakes the shop serves coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cold drinks, with a few tables for eating in or everything boxed to take away. It is a useful stop for visitors to the town who need to eat gluten-free, as well as for regulars.
The bakery opens every day of the week, from 10am to 4pm on weekdays, 9.30am to 4.30pm on Saturdays and 10am to 3pm on Sundays.
