From Seattle's Pike Place Market to Victoria Square
Starbucks opened its first store at Pike Place Market in Seattle in 1971, and arrived in Britain in 1998 when it bought the 65-outlet Seattle Coffee Company and rebranded its shops. This Victoria Square branch brings that chain to the heart of Truro, one of the many city-centre shops Starbucks has opened across the UK since that acquisition.
