Richard Anderson opened its doors at 13 Savile Row in 2001 and is still independently owned and run by its two founders, Richard Anderson and Brian Lishak. The shop makes bespoke garments for both men and women, cut and finished to each customer's measurements, and also offers a made-to-measure route for those who want a tailored fit with fewer fittings.
Alongside the commissioned work, the shop sells its own ready-to-wear suits, jackets, coats and shirts, plus accessories such as hand-rolled silk pocket squares. Customers who cannot get to Mayfair can arrange a first conversation by video call, and the house provides after-care for garments it has made. The shop is open through the week and on Saturdays, closing on Sundays.
