Sous le Nez Restaurants in Holbeck, Leeds

About
Sous le Nez is a French-inspired bistro and restaurant in the basement of Quebec House on Quebec Street, a couple of minutes' walk from Leeds railway station. The restaurant is a cavernous cellar with nooks, crannies and secluded corners, a hideaway from the city above, and there is a bar for drinks and lighter meals. The kitchen cooks French classics such as moules mariniere, fish soup with rouille, French onion soup, chicken liver parfait and Yorkshire pig cheeks braised in cider, with a menu du soir, an a la carte menu, bar meals and a wine list.
The private dining room, refurbished recently, seats from 6 to 25 people for birthdays, celebrations and business meetings, and the team can arrange menus and wines for an event. Lunch and dinner are served from Tuesday to Saturday with a break in the afternoon, and the restaurant is closed on Sundays, Mondays and bank holidays. Tables can be booked online or by phone, and gift vouchers are available.
