Cross Lane Garage is a family-run independent garage on Cross Lane in Wakefield, set up by its late founder in 1976 and now owned and run by a member of the family, a mechanic since 1997 who is the garage's authorised examiner and lead MOT tester. It is a DVSA-approved MOT testing station handling cars, vans and motorhomes, and several car dealerships around Wakefield use it for their MOTs.
Alongside MOTs the workshop carries out servicing, air conditioning servicing, diagnostics, engine and general repairs, tyres and welding, all done in-house. The garage is a member of the Retail Motor Industry Federation. The workshop and its reception are open on weekdays and on Saturday mornings.
